As a Maintenance Assistant, you play a direct role in serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Facilities Manager to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment for our residents.

Shift:

  • Part-time Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:00am-3:00pm
  • Every other weekend and holiday required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with a minimum of 3 months remaining in good standing.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and maintaining janitorial and maintenance equipment including toilets, furniture refinishing, painting, cleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and wet/dry vacuuming.
  • Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Purchasing supplies and ordering materials.
  • Aiding in the scheduling of services and repairs.
  • Coordinating with medical, social workers, nurses, chemist, technicians, and staff to ensure proper screening and diagnosis of clients.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy office space.
  • Regularly attending meetings and training sessions which include but are not limited to curriculum and curriculum development and review, case management meetings and community outreach.
  • Other duties as assigned.
